Overview of PRINCE2^® Practitioner Course

The PRINCE2 Practitioner Course was designed for individuals who are interested in studying the
PRINCE2 method in a classroom environment under the guidance of an experienced facilitator.  There are 2 levels to the  PRINCE2 certification program:  Foundation and Practitioner.  The Practitioner course runs over 2 days.  Students must have successfully completed the Foundation exam before attending the Practitioner course.

The PRINCE2 Foundation course provides students with indepth knowledge and understanding on the practical application of the PRINCE2 method.

Entry Requirements

Students must have passed the PRINCE2 Foundation exam.

Course Content

The course is an exam preparation course based on the Managing Successful Projects manual (2009 edition).  The course is designed to prepare students for the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam by looking at a sample project scenario and applying the PRINCE2 method to that scenario. 

As part of this course students will attempt several Practitioner style exam questions.  The course will include exam tips and tricks to assist students prepare for the exam..

Assessment

To achieve the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification, participants will need to successfully complete the PRINCE2 Practitioner Exam.  This is a 2.5 hour Objective Test Exam (taken on the Friday.

Participants must have passed the Foundation exam before proceeding to the Practitioner exam.
