Overview

The PRINCE2^® Distance Learning courses were designed for individuals who are interested in studying the PRINCE2 methodology on their own or with a blended approach making use of the guidance of an experienced facilitator.  There are 2 levels to the  PRINCE2 training certification program:  Foundation and Practitioner.  The Foundation level of the PRINCE2 certification is attained by successfully completing a 1 hour exam while the PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification requires completion of a 2.5 hour exam.

Students can book the following PRINCE2 Distance Learning course options:

1. Foundation certification online option: $690.00 ex gst
2. Foundation & Practitioner certification online option: $1350.00 ex gst
3. Foundation & Practitioner certification Blended option: $1690.00 ex gst.  Includes 1 day of classroom training

Course Outcome

The PRINCE2 course provides students with indepth knowledge and understanding on the practical application of the PRINCE2 methodology.  Students will receive either a certificate in the PRINCE2 methodology at the Foundation level or PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate depending on the course selected.

Entry Requirements

This PRINCE2 training event is an open course with no pre-requisite qualifications.  Any experience in project teams would be beneficial.

Course Content

The PRINCE2 course is based on the Managing Successful Projects manual (2009 edition).  The PRINCE2 training covers the Processes, Themes and the Principles of the PRINCE2 methodology along with how to tailor the method for a project.

Participants will work through the project lifecycle from starting a project through to proper closure of the project.  During this journey they will consider all key aspects of the PRINCE2 methodology.

Assessment

To achieve the PRINCE2 methodology qualifications, participants will need to successfully complete the relevant exams.

1.  PRINCE2 Foundation Exam: this is a 1 hour multiple choice exam
2.  PRINCE2 Practitioner Exam: this is a 2.5 hour Objective Test Exam

Participants must pass the PRINCE2 methodology Foundation exam before proceeding to the Practitioner exam

Course dates

The Foundation exams are taken on Thursday mornings  at 8:30 (8:15 arrival).  The Practitioner exams are taken on Friday mornings at 9:00 am (8:45 arrival).
