1. What time do the courses start?

Courses will normally start at 9:00 (unless otherwise advised). Courses will complete by 5:00pm each day. 

2. What is the dress code for my course?

There is no dress code for our courses. Formal, casual, it doesn't matter provided you are comfortable while studying.

3. Where are the courses held?

The courses are held in the CBD. Check our course locations for details in your city.

4. Is catering included in the course fee.

Catering is included with the course. Generally this will mean coffee on arrival, morning and afternoon tea plus lunch. If you are booking/have booked a course and have special dietary requirements please let us know at least 1 week prior to your course so we can ensure appropriate catering is available.

 

PRINCE2 ®

5. Who is OGC?

OGC stands for the Office of Government Commerce. They are the owners of the PRINCE2 methodology.

6. Who is APMG?

APMG is the group responsible for administering PRINCE2 certification around the world. They do this on behalf of OGC.

7. Do I have to take both PRINCE2 exams in the same week?

No. You can purchase our PRINCE2 "split" course and come back for the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam at a later date.

8. How long is the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

The PRINCE2 Foundation exam is a 1 hour multiple choice exam. This exam is closed book.

9. How long is the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam is a 2.5 hour objective test exam. This exam is open book.

10. What if I fail a PRINCE2 exam?

Should you be unfortunate and fail the PRINCE2 exam, you can contact our office and book in for another exam sitting. You do not need to take a course again. Please note there is a fee to purchase the exams.

11. Where are your PRINCE2 courses located?

All PRINCE2 courses are held in the CBD.  Check our course locations.

 

PMBoK ®

12. What is PMI?

PMI is the Project Management Institute in the USA. This institute is responsible for the Project Management Body of Knowledge. See www.pmi.org for further information.

13. What is PMBoK?

The PMBoK is the Project Management Body of Knowledge. This guide is published by PMI. It is the textbook around which the CAPM and PMP qualifications are based.

14. What is CAPM?

CAPM stands for Certified Associate in Project Management. It is a certification based on the PMBoK. Certification is achieved by passing a 3 hour multiple choice exam.

15. What is PMP?

PMP stands for Project Management Professional. It is a certification based on the PMBoK and a project managers real life experience. Certification is achieved by passing a 4 hour multiple choice exam.

16. Where are your PMP and CAPM courses located?

These courses are currently held in the Sydney CBD.

17. Where do I take the PMP or CAPM exams?

The exams for PMP and CAPM are taken online at Prometric testing centres. There are centres in the CBD in Melbourne and Sydney.

18. How long is the PMP exam?

The PMP exam is 4 hours.

19. How long is the CAPM exam?

The CAPM exam is 3 hours.
